LICENSING LEGISLATION

♦ - CHANGES IN AUSTRALIA. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Seed. 8 p.m.) SYDNEY, Aug. 28. The New South Wales Alliance has carried a resolution against the State Government's new licensing proposals, unless provision is made to take, during the present session of Parliament, a local option vote on a bare majority basis. It has also passed a resolution against the adoption of the Victorian system of licensing.
