Advices received through Paris report that the Cabinet of Herr Gustav Beidl, who assumed the Premiership of Hungary three days ago on the "flight of Bella Kun, has been overthrown. ' The Archduke Josef has established a Government and formed a new ministry, the Allies agreeing to this course. Herr Vaida, a Transylvanian member of the Cabinet, told the correspondent of the Petit Parisien that the peasants of Nagykanisza ignored Bela Kun's last mobilisation order, and 150 were hanged in their, own houses. Vaida describes the Beidl Government as a twin brother to that of Bela Kun. Times. LONDON. Aug. 7. The Beidl Government, before its overthrow, made a clean sweep of |(;he revolutionary tribunals. Elections will be held about the first of September. Advices from Vienna state that the counter - revolutionary Hungarian Government offered the crown to King Ferdinand of Eoumania. e *■ It-is'Htated that the Archduke Josef, when chosen leader of the Government, appointed Herr Friedrich Premier. DEMANDS FROM ROUMANIA. APPEAL FOR, ALLIED AID. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Aug. 7. A wireless message from Berlin states that Roumania has demanded the reduction >of the Hungarian Army to 15,000 men, the surrender of ail munition factories and military equipment, of 50 per cent, of railway material, 30 per cent, of- agricultural machinery and live stock, 10,000 waggons of maize, and 35,000 waggons of other cereals. A* reply is demanded by August 15. The Hungarian Government has appealed to the Allies for intervention, declaring that compliance with the terms is impossible.
