WAR REGULATIONS.
PROTEST feV FLA. .WORKERS. [BT TELEGRAI :.--PRi!SS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON NORTH. Monday. The Manawatu Flaxworkere' Union has passed resolutions demanding the repeal of the War Regulations, the release of all persons imprisoned under these regulations, and the release of all conscientious objectors imprisoned for refuFing military service. It also demands that prisoners working on the Toka-imi Road should receive better food, and that a stove or other beating appliance,' should be placed ia eacli hat to keep it and the bedding dry in the winter months. A resolution was also passed in reference to the death of W. L. W. White, a conscientious objector, who died in the Auckland prison.
