RETURNING TRANSPORTS.

THREE SAILINGS FIXED.

TWO TO LEAVE IN JUNE. In view of tho many inquiries that have been received by the Defence Department regarding the date of the return of New Zealand soldiers now in Egypt, the Minister for Defence, Sir James Allen, recently cabled to Egypt for information on the subject. A reply received by the Minister last evening stated that the following ships would leave Egypt for New Zealand:—Ulimaroa on Juno 24, Pilsna on Juno 30, I'nsbruk on July 20. Sir James states that he presumes that these vessels will bring New Zealand troops.
