PRESENTATION.
Miss Goldsworthy, who lias left tie. staff of tile To Kuiti District High SckA to join the staff of the Ellerslie sebco!, received several presentations before her departure.
Tho Te Awamutu Town Hall was filled on Friday night, on tho occasion of a public farewell tendered to Mr. and Mb. W. T. Stewart on the rve of their departure for Auckland. .Mr. Stewart, who has held office as postmaster at Te An- \ mutu for 10 years, has now joined the Department of Internal Affairs, bein» stationed at Auckland. The presentation' of a gold watch, suitably inscribed, was made by the Mayor, Mr. L. G. Armstrong while to Mrs. Stewart a handsome bouquet was handed by her many friends. Th s chairman of the Kihikihi Town Board, .Mr. J. C. jtfontifiore, also spoke, both speaks! referring to tho valued public service;; so generously given by both of the guests of the evening to every worthy cause.
