HOMEMADE BREAD.

Sir,—On the above subject I quite agree with all "Yeast " says in her letter. If women only knew how easy it is to make good bread I am sure they would try it. I do not make- mine quite" like " Yeast," I set a sponge at midday, work the dough up at five o'clock, leave it all night to rise, and bake it early next morning. There are eight of us in the family, hoys and girls with good healthy appetites. I ba.ke twelve loaves and about a dozen good big buns every week. Making this quantity every week costs us 25s a month for flour. I use 1121b of flour. Besides the bread 1 have plenty of flour for cakes, tart 6, or scones. I do not think the bread could be bought as cheap as that. Bread.
