SOLDIER OUT-PATIENTS.
ALLOWANCES TO BK DOUBLED. [BV TEUCIUI'H.— ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Tucsdny. The Defence Department has decided to double the allowances paid to soldiers undergoing treatment in hospital, but who ar e not provided with board and lodgings. The increase will be from two shillings to four shillings per diem.
