o SEAPLANE'S RETURN TRIP. The New Zealand Flying School's seaplane, which flew from Auckland to Russell on Saturday with Mr. A. B. Williams, ci Waipi.ru Bay, as a passenger, returned to Auckland yesterday. The seaplane left Russell at 10.30 a.m., and a stop for lunch was made inside Whangarei Heads. From there the machine (lew to Kawau Inland, where a second stop was made at Mansion House Bay. Kohimarama was reached at 2 p.m., the Hying time totalling two hours, against 2\ hours taken on the trio from Auckland to Russell. The trip was made in five weather, with a, light head wind, condi'ieus improving as the seaplane ncared Auckland. The pilot was Mr". 0. R.'lt. This is the second occasion on which a machine from the school has made a prolonged (light with a passenger, the previous occasion being when Dr. H. W. L'leary, Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland, travelled to Mercury Bay.
