A conference of the Triple Labour Alliance at Southport ratified the acceptance of the Government offers to miners, railwaymon, and transport workers. The conference also urged that the Trade Union Congress should convene a national conference to decide upon action.in connection with the demand for the withdrawal of conscription, the immediate raising of the blockade, the withdrawal of troops from Russia, and the release of conscientious objectors.
