THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL

His Excellency the Governor-General, the Earl of Liverpool, and the Countess of Liverpool, arrived from Kotorua 011 Saturday afternoon and took up their residence at Government House. They expect, to remain in Auckland for several weeks. His Excellency was accompanied by Mr. Gavin Hamilton, private secretary, and is attended by his aides-de-camp, Lieut. H. G. F. Garland and Lieut. Erio Million. Yesterday morning Their Excellencies attended the Easter morning service at St. Mary's Cathedral, Parnell They will be present at tho races at El« lerslie to-day.
