DEATH ON A LAUNCH.

YOUNG WOMAN EXPIRES.

A young woman, Miss Joyce Lankshear, aged 25, died rather suddenly early on Thursday morning while travelling from Great Barrier to Auckland on the launch Ngariti. Miss Lankshear, a recent arrival from Wellington, had been staying at Great Barrier with some friends, and as her health was somewhat Indifferent it was decided that she should return to Auckland for medical attention. The return voyage was only in progress a few hours when the deceased expired. An inquest will bo held.
