REMUERA ROADS AND NEEDS.
Sir, —1 am glad to see that an effort is being made to revive the Reinuera Ratepayers' Assocint'on. I can boar persona] testimony to the disgraceful state of the ronds conversing on Hobson Bay, {or I recently traversed these roads while obtaining signatures to a petition for the establishment of a side school near Flobson Day waterfront. I only wish that the Mayor and councillors had been with me, on foot, not dashing past in a motor-car on a so-called tour of inspection. The tour weuld have opened their eyes, and their ears would have tingled. It will be noted that Mr. Gunson, in his reply to the strictures made at the ratepayers' meeting, does not say anything about, what has been done for Hobson Bay. He could not do so. honestly, because nothing has been done during his term of office. Edwin Mossman.
