FIRE IN A SAWMILL.

EXTINGUISHED WITHOUT DAMAGE, A fire broke out in the Kami Timber Company's sawmill in Customs Street West at an early hour yesterday morning, It is believed that the outbreak was caused by a spark from tho stokehole igniting a corner of the roof of the main building. Tho alarm was given promptly, and the City Fire Brigade attacked the fire by breaking through tho skylight, and soon extinguished it. The only damage wag the charring of some of the sawn timber in stock.
