MR. AND MRS. J. A. LANGFORD.
Among tho victims of the epidemic «m Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Langford, of Auckland, both being 70 years of age. -Mr. Langford, whose parents came to New Zealand in the ship Jane Gifford, \ih Jjorn in Auckland in 1848, atd was mar- : ried at Nelson in 1876. Mr. and Mrs. Langford are survived by five daughter! and 14 grandchildren. ME. S. McWILIIAMS. "J The death occurred recently in Awt land of Mr. S. Mc Williams, an. old 'w* nist of New Zealand. Mr. McWjJliart:, who was born in Dandonald Comity, Ireland, in 1816, arrived in _ Otago in 1863, engaging in farming pursuits. Twenty-tif! years ago he came to Auckland.
