SERGEANT AND MRS. RtCKARD.
Another case of a father and tooth&" both dying from influenza is reputed Staff-Sergeant G. E. Rickard, formerly of" the local Defence staff, died at Trenthsm and four days later his wife succumbed to the disease, leaving two orphan children.
PRIVATE STANLEY PRIME. The death occurred atTrentham cunt hospital yesterday, from influents, of p R f . vate Stanley Prime, second son of Mr. \V, L. Prime, "of Napier. Deceased, w j,j was born in Auckland, leaves a widow arj two children. MR. JAMES 0. PENMAN. Advice has been received of the death of Mr. James 0. Penman, second engineer of the Navua. Deceased succumbed si Papeete, on November 29, to an attic* ct influenza, while his vessel was en route to th Dominion from San Francisco. Hews a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Penman, d 25, Morley Avenue, Devonport. .
