' NON-PNEUMONIC TYPE.
STATEMENT BY MINISTER.

(Rocd. 8.25 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Dec. 6.
The Minister for Public Health states that there is nothing to warrant the suggestion that pneumonic influenza has reached Melbourne. An investigation showed that the cases treated in the hospital were ordinary inftuenia, and not connected with the Spanish type.
