TECHNICAL SCHOOL SPORTS.
A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING.
The Auckland Technical High School's annual sports meeting was nail at the Domain yesterday. The weather was excellent, end (here was a, large attendance. The ground was somewhat neaT", but improved during the day. Some very good perform--1 ances, for the conditions, were registered, especially at tho shorter distanoes, and several new school records wei6 est up. School records for the 220 yds race were broken by Miller (School Championship. 24 2-ss), Malloy (Under 16, 25 4-ss>, and Mnnro (Under 15, 25 4-ss». and two at 440 yds by Miell (Under I 16. 62 1-Bb) and Armstrong (Under 15, 70 2-fia). The Junior Class Relay Race (880 yds) was ( run In the very fast time of lm 51 4-6s, by First-year Agriculture team.
