CORONIAL INQUIRIES.
DEATHS FROM HEART FAILURE.
An inquest concerning the death of Mrs. Eliza Parfett, at her residence at Mount Eden on Friday, was held by Mr. E. 0. Cutten, S.M., on Saturday morning. R. H. Phillips, a nephew of the deceased, said she was a widow, 68 years of age, and had received treatment for hoart trouble. She went to bed in her usual health on Thursday night and was found dead the next morning. Dr. Moir said he considered death was due to heart failure, and a verdict in accordance with this evidence was returned.
An inquiry into the death of Mrs. Grace Wright, which occurred at Vine Street, Ponsonby, on Friday, was also hold. James Wright, son of the deceased, said she had received medical treatment for rheumatism. Dr. McCormick, who had knowledge of tho history of the case, said he was satisfied death was due to heart failure. A verdict was returned in accordance with the doctor's evidence.
