FRUIT CROP IN BRITAIN.
ONE OF WORST RECORDED. Times. LONDON, July 4.
The Earl of Crawford, Lord Privy Seal, states that the British fruit crop is one of the worst experienced. After meeting the demands of the army and navy under an ounce of jam per head weekly will bo available for civilians, without allowing for any consumption of fresh fruit.
