LAND TRANSACTION.
DECISION OF APPEAL COURT. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Friday. In the case of Hardy v. Pairama, the Appeal Court lias held that an order of the Land Court, vesting a defined portion ° f ,' and in appellant, was made without jurisdiction, and is, therefore, invalid. Appelant, the Court held, was in the position, of a mortgagee who has realised his security and must account to 'the mortgagor. Costs were allowed to respondent on the lowest scale.
