Abraham and Williams, Ltd.. report.At Palmcrston North on Thursday, we held our autumn cattle fair in conjunction with the other firms. There was a total yarding of over 2000 cattlo of all classes. There was a large attendance, but the salo was not good, and there was no demand for grown bullocks. Good weaners and yeaning to swmonth Bteora and store cowb sold a* lots rates. Wo Quote: Medium fat cows, £9 15a to £10; light fat cows, £7 15a, £& 10a to £8 12»; forward cows, £6 10a, £7 10s, to £8 10b; small storo cows, £6 10a to £7 10s; cows and calves, £4 Bs to £9 ss; good spring heifers, at drop, £1110s to £13 17s 6d. others £8 to £10 15s; 18-month steers, £7 12s; 20month heifers, £3 Us; mixed weaners, 269 to 325; bulls, to £10 ss. , At Feilding on Friday we had rather a smaller entry than usual. With the exception -of grown steers and weaarts, cattle sold well. Sheep, which were on the whole of an ordinary Quality, sold well. Plain fat cows brought from £11 10s to £12 15s; forward cows. £9 to £10; fresh-conditioned cows, £8 2s 6d to £9 12s 6d; store cows, £4 12s 6d to £7 10s; dairy cows (ordinary). £9 7s 6d to £10; springing heifers (good). £10 to £13 IDs; two-year steers (bad colours), £8 Is; 21-year heifers, in calf, £8 to £8*108; small 2-year heifers, in calf, £3 17s 6d to £8 2s 6d: yearlings, £2 17b 6d; 2-year empty ewes, 235; 4 and 6-tooth ewes, in lamb (low conditioned), 22s 3d; woolly lambs, 15s Cd; bliow forward lambs, 14s 6d; store lambs, 7a to 8s lOd cull 2-tooths, 17s 6d; aged rams (potters), 22a to 30s.
