BAD WEATHER PREDICTED.
HEAVY RAIN LIKELY.
Reporting nt 6 p.m. yesterday, Mr. Clement L, Wraggo made- the following statement —
"At this time the Auckland Province is under the penumbra of the new depression, which, for reference, is named ' Nathon.' Its rate of motion appears to have gained energy since my last report. Thus a renewal of unsettled conditions is now steadily developing, and a considerable rainfall is likely during the next few days. Winds should be from between E.N.E. and N., later shifting toward N.W., and increasing in velocity, with rising seas. This disturbance will probably affect the whole country, more or less, beforo its passage into W. longitude, and bad weather from the N.W. is almost suro to occur on the west coasts and in Cook Straits beforo Tuesday next."
