GERMAN CONFISCATIONS.
GREAT BARRIER TO PEACE A." and N.Z. LONDON, Mar. 10. Sir Edward Carson, speaking at Dover, said German methods might be learned in five minutes by the dealings with Russia and Roumania. These confiscations were enough to prevent peace in Europe, for the next 100 years. "If we have peace," ho said, " none of these German acts can bo allowed to stand. Anyono wanting peace now is either a traitor or a madman." Ho had such faith in the British that he was convinced war would not cease until the Germans confessed themselves robbers and burglars.
