EGG-LAYING COMPETITION.

THIRTY-NINTH WEEK'S RESULTS. The thirty-ninth week of the Auckland Poultrykeepers' Association's egg-laying competition at Albany concluded on Monday last. In almost every pen birds are shedding; feathers, with the result that production is decreased. The total number of eggs laid by the 46 pens for the week was 881, making a grand total of 40,430.
