NELSON DAY CELEBRATION.
SERVICE AND PUBLIC MEETING. A special service will bo conducted by Bishop Avcrill in the Town Hall on Sun day next, Nelson Day. Special prayers and intercessions will bo given, and the public is invited to attend in ord,or to show appreciation of the .work of the navy. ; .-,'."■ .■■ ■;:-; . A meeting in connection with the Nelson Day celebration will be hold under tho auspices of the Auckand branch of the Navy League in tho Town Hall on Monday evening next. An attractive programme of musical items has '■ been arranged, and resolutions expressing % admiration of tho work done by the' allied navies will bo proposed. A collection will bo taken in aid of the Navy Relief Fund.
