INDUSTRIAL LEGISLATION.
CONTROL OVER STRIKES. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Oct. 15. The State Minister for Labour, Mr. G. S. .Beeby, in a speech, outlined pending industrial legislation and proposed drastic measures dealing with unions who strike whilst in possession of awards. The unions may register under the Act or keep outside. If they follow the latter course they mußt give reasonable ndtico to the Industrial Department beforo striking.
