' MISCELLANEOUS. For keeping a house of ill-fame in Hobson Street, Winifred Bruce was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, and for I residing in the house James Drew was sentenced to one month's imprisonment. I Thomas 'NaugHUm was fined £1 for comj mitting a nuisance. Robert Clegg admitted using indecent language and resisti ing arrest bv Constable W. Ryan, with the result that the latter sprained his ankle. Defendant was handed over to the military authorities to be dealt with. Four first offenders for drunkenness were dealt with. George Edward French was adjudged the father of an illegitimate child, and was ordered to pay 5s a week maintenance and £2 2s costs.
