ENTERTAINMENTS.

OPERA HOUSE. Paul Stanhope and his company are proving very popular in their "latest frivolity, "Hokey Pokey," at the Opera House this week. The production is clever and beautifully mounted. Harold Lockwood and Murfayne, this week's newcomers, were again well received last night. The other items of the programme are all of a high order. KING'S THEATRE. The Queen of the Redskins," a sensational melodrama, is being well produced at the King's Theatre this week." The story is uncommon, and many quaint scenes are shown. The popular concert organised to augment the St. Patrick's organ fund will take place to-night in the Town Hall. The programme is a varied and attractive one, and includes the names of Miss Jessie Bartlett, Miss Rosa Sachs (dancer), Mrs Blythe, Miss Zoe Bartley, and Messrs! Lonergan, Gemmel, Alan McElwain j H. Egan, A. H. Ripley. J. W. Ryan, and the Lyric Quartette. The programme will conclude with a one-act comedy sketch "A Busy Day." Seats may be booked, free of extra charge, at Wildman and Arey's. Two comedy pictures and the Australian Gazette are included in .he programme. QUEEN'S THEATRE. The picture deals with Parisian life in Napoleonic days, and the setting is quaint and charming. Numerous other films are shown. PRINCESS THEATRE. " Sowers and Reapers," now beinoshown at the Princess Theatre, is dis° tinctly original in conception. It is a case of a picture within a picture, the photography being worthy of mention.
