NEW ORDER AT PEKIN.
REPUBLICAN CONTROL. FLIGHT OF ROYALISTS. A. and N.Z. Cable. LONDON. July 11. The Royalist leader in Pekin, Chang Hsun, has handed over control of the gendarmerie to the Republicans. Trains leaving Pekin are being searched to prevent suspects escaping. The Imperialist general, Feng Lin Kuo, was thus arrested disguised in civilian attire. It is reported that Chang Hsun has taken refuge in the British Legation. The majority of his troops are within the Imperial Palace.
(Received 7.30 p.m.) TIENTSIN, July 11.
The Republican cordon round Pekin is complete. There is nothing left for the Imperialists but to surrender. They are resigning positions wholesale.
