The amended by-laws will come into operation on June 26. 1# Alternative schemes were submitted bfl * the engineer for the doubling of the shel-ter-shed accommodation on the St. HelierJ Bay Wharf, at estimated costs of £35 and £150 ' respectively. The 1 board adopted £ the cheaper scheme. It was agreed to take over the Water* side Workers Union ambulance, subjectl to the approval of the Hospital and Charitable -Aid Board, and the secretary was instructed to write to employers of | labour on the waterside, asking' • fo? annual contributions , amounting in all to £100. - , 1 ,:.
