ASSESSMENT COURT.
NORTHCOTE VALUATIONS. An Assessment Court,' Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., presiding, sat at Northcote yesterday to hear objections against the valuations made by the borough valuer. The increase over the previous valuation Was about £1800, which the Court reduced by £50. The following reductions were • made:— ' G. E. Adamsi, £50 to £49-; W. Bruce. £32 J? £28; W. H. Major. £46 to £44; ; C. T. Major, £25 to £21; estate of H. Major, v' £25 to £20; Eliza A. Melville, £42 to £41 (by consent); H. G.
