WAITEMATA LICENSES.

The quarterly meeting of tho Waitemata Licensing Committee was held in the Devonport Borough Council chambers yesterday. The chairman, Mr. E. C. Cutten. S.M., presided, and there were also present: Messrs. J. Edson, A. Alison, and E. E. (Irimwade. The application of M. H. Walsh for a transfer of the license of the Xorthcote Hotel to F. T. Bolton was granted. Further leave ol absence until June was granted to ,T. Smith, licensee of the MOll Desir Hotel,'' Takapuna, subject to any barman employed being approved by tlio statutory inspector of hotels. SubInspector Mellvmey.
