IMPERIAL MEAT SUPPLY.
INCREASED PRICE OFFERED. CONFERENCE OF PRODUCERS. [BT TELEGRAPH".— association]. WELLINGTON. Friday. A conference of representatives of the meat producers of the Dominion, following on a conference of freezing companies' representatives, came to a decision regarding, the prices to bo aid for Imperial meat supplies from New Zealand, as cabled out by Mr. Massey after consultation with the Imperial Board of Trade. The terras submitted provide that beef shall be purchased f.o.b. at one farthing per lb over last season's prices, and all classes of mutton seven-eighths of a penny per lb f.o.b. over last season's prices. If New Zealand agrees to tlio arrangement holding good for the duration of the war, the Board of Trade offers to increase the prices of lamb, class 7, to 7Jd per lb, and class 8 to 6|d per lb. The board's offer was accepted, with the addition that the prices detailed shall rule until six months after the termination of the war.
