WAITEMATA LADIES' CLUB. The winners of the Red Cross medals recently played oft for the fold button, and some good matches resulted. In tho first round Mrs. Bayly beat Mrs. Rodger and Miss Bray won from Miss Kewell. In the second round Mrs. Prime defeated Miss Johnston and Miss Bray beat Mrs. Bayly. The final was played off between Mrs. Prime and Miss Brav, the latter scouring tho match, aftei a closely-contested game, on the eighteenth green. The season was closed last week by an approaching and putting competition for » prize presented by Mrs. Benjamin, whlcn was won by Miss Harvey, Afterwards the visitors were entertained at afternoon tea, and the prizes won during tho season were presented by the president, Mrs. Benjamin.
