HIGH HEELS, SHORT FROCKS.

Hick-heeled footwear is much in fashion again, the result of the very short skirts vogue, which tempts women to reduce the apparent length of the foot, which the high heel docs more or less effectively. The high heel forces the spine out of alignment, and is one of the commonest causes of backache. It throws the weight of the body on the front part of the foot, thus cramping the toes and giving rise to bunions and corns. A woman suffering from these troubles cannot escape nerve irritation, nor can she walk with her natural grace.
