The Central News Agency states that unless the Parliamentary Committee of the Trade Union Congress obtains Government assurance regarding the control of food supplies or the fixing of maximum prices, united Labour action will be taken for a uniform advance in wages. It is asserted that 11,500,000 workers are behind the movement, with the support of trades already benefiting by advanced wages.
