YESTERDAY'S QUOTATIONS. The local sharemarket opened quietly yesterday. Bank of New Zealands, fully paid issue, had inquiry in the morning at £17 4s, with no sellers under £17 Ba. Buying offers for New Zealand Insurances advanced from £6 5s to £6 6s 6d, but no sellers declared. Union Steams (ord.), were unchanged. Sales, of Waihis were made at 36s 3d and 36s 6d, (he market closing at 36s 3d and 37s 3d, buyer and seller respectively. Talismans changed hands at 9s 9d. ' AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE.
