SPRING FLOWER SHOW.

OPENING TO-DAY.

The Auckland Horticultural Society's Spring Show will bo opened this afternoon by the Mayor, Mr. J. H. Gunson, at tho horticultural hall in the Domain. Many entries have been received in tho different classes of flowers, and a fine selection of blooms will be displayed. To-morrow evening tho show will be open until ten o'clock, and the usual auction sale of exhibits will bo held at nine o'clock. All profit* this year will be devoted to patriotic purposes, ond no prize money will be paid. ,
