BRITISH AIRMEN DRIVE OFF GERMAN AEROPLANES.
FOUR OF THE ENEMY'S AIRCRAFT DESTROYED. MANY OTHERS BROUGHT DOWN OR PURSUED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON. August 23. A report from Sir Douglas Haig states: " The enemy's aircraft were satisfactorily engaged in large numbers on Tuesday evening. Four were destroyed, and many others were brought down or pursued to their aerodromes."
