RECEPTION IN CHRISTCHURCH
BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH. Wednesday. The sixteenths had an enthusiastic reception on their march through the city today. The t --n was full of holiday-makers for the Grand National meeting and the streets were lined with thousands '—o: people, cheering. The troops marched from the station to Victoria Square, where they were briefly addressed by the Mavor and" Colonel Chaffer. They marched back to the train, and were sent South.
