CHEESE FOR THE ARMY.
CONFERENCE REGARDING PRICE
[BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN" CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON. Wednesday. The Prime Minister on Friday will meet representatives of the cheese producers of the Dominion to confer with them regarding the terms on which the cheese output of the Dominion shall be purchased on bohalf of the Imnerial Board of Trade for army supplies. The last demand of the producers was that the price should be B|d per lb. In reply to this demand, Mr. Massey hae received a cablegram from the Imperial Government, and the contents of this telegram he will nut before the meeting. It is considered probable that the price ultimately fixed will be something less than BJ<l per lb.
