FAITHFUL TO ALLIANCE.

JAPAN'S PRACTICAL AID.

POST-WAR INTENTIONS. Reuter. VANCOUVER. August 4. After attending the Paris Conference Marquis Inow, when passing through Canada on his way back to Japan, was interviewed on the war. He stated that at the close of hostilities Japan would certainly return Kiau-Chau, the late German territory in China, to the Chinese.

The marquis stated that most of the munitions now being used by the Russians in their offensive were made in Japan, and shipped by way of Vladivostock. Japan was thoroughly in sympathy with the resolutions passed at the Paris Conference, expressing the intention of combating German trade.
