Escott on account of illness, and to Mr. J. Vigor Brown on account of illness in his family. The third reading of the Finance Bill was moved by*> Sir Joseph Ward. The third reading was carried at 11 p.m.

The House rose until 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
