NAVY LEAGUE FUND.
TOTAL SUM NOW £12.564. LATEST CONTRIBUTION'S. The sum of £595 9s 6d was received yesterday by the treasurer of the Navy League Fund, the largest contribution being that of the Auckland Harbour Board, which made a donation of £500. The fund now amounts to £12.554 2s lOd. Included in the donations received Yesterday were the follow amounts:— t, £ s. d. Mackav 24 5 0 Collected by the Frankton Women's Patriotic Guild, per Miss Bull 22 0 0 Staff South British Insurance Company. £20; Tamaki Road Board. £10: collected at Whangapara by R. Ravenhill, £6 10s; smaller amounts, £12 14s 6d A meeting of the Executive Committee was held yesterday, Captain Thomas being in the chair. It was resolved that an appeal should be sent to all local bodies in the province who have not vet contributed to the fund.
