TELEGRAPHIC CHESS MATCH.
.Arrangement? have been completed for a. 12-board telegraphic chess match night and next Saturday between the Ota-go and the Canterbury Chess Clubs. It is now three years since the last match of the kind "was played between the two clubs, on September 20 and 27, 1913. when Otago won by eight games to four. The forthcoming match will be the last for some time in •which Mr. Severne," the acknowledged leader of the Canterbury Club, will take part, as he is going to Trent .shortly, having enlisted.
