The next sitting of the council in connection with the dispute will be held on Saturday, and possibly again on Monday next, at Whangarei, for which centre Mr. Harle Giles and the assessors will leave Auckland to-morrow. The final sitting in the dispute will be held in Auckland on Friday, July 7, when the evidence taken in the various districts will be considered with a view to framing an award suitable to ail the centres concerned. The council will sit to hear the electrical workers' dispute on Tuesday, July 11, and the painters and decorators' dispute on Thursday, July 13 next.
