LATEST CASUALTY LIST. < _______ NEW ZEALAND NAMES. 'Received Juno 2G, 11.25 p.m.'/ SYDNEY. JUNE 26. Casualty list No. 180 includes the names of 78 soldiers who were previously reported missing, and now stated to have been killed in action at Gallipoli. The list includes Private J. P. Dee, a New Zealander. The following New Zealanders are reported to be ill: Driver ,S. N. Anderson, Privates L. Orr P. T. Olliver. J. Wares, and E. Finn.
COMPULSORY TRAINING. CALL FOR A REPORT. MELBOURNE. JUNE 26. The Federal Cabinet has referred the question of compulsory military training of all male citizens of military age to the Military Board, upon •whose report the Government's action will be determined. (HELPING THE WAR LOAN. v SYDNEY. JUNE 26. The British-Australasian Tobacco 'Company has inaugurated a scheme to enable its employees to subscribe to the war loan. The company is prepared to buy any amount the employees authorise, deducting from their wages 2s (3d weekly for every £10 invested.
