SATURDAY'S ENROLMENTS.
TWENTY-FIVE ACCEPTED.
DEFERRED MEN NOW FIT.
Over 50 per cent, of those who volunteered for the front at the city recruiting station on Saturday were accepted for service. Of 31 enrolled, 17 were declared fit, six were deferred, and eight- were rejected. Eight men, who previously had been deferred, were accepted on Saturay. Among those who enlisted were a school inspector and three school teachers. lor 10 week ended Saturday night, 191 men offered their services, 86 were accepted, 40 were deferred, and 65 were rejected. The following table shows the number of men who have enrolled at the central s ion since the commencement of the recruiting campaign in Auckland:—

EIGHTEENTH REINFORCEMENTS. ARRANGEMENTS FOR DESPATCH. The train arrangements for the despatch on June 27 of the eighteenth reinforcements to the training camps have been announced. The mid-day express will carry Mounted Rifles, Artillery and _ Army Service Corps to j Feathers ton, via Woodville, as follows: — No. 1, City, group. 30; No. 3, Whangarei, group, 9 ; No. 2, Paeroa, group, 11; No. 4, Hamilton, group, 15. Total 65. The two last-mentioned drafts will join the train at Frankton Junction. The men on this train will be in charge of Captain W. Q. Kewish. p A special train will leave Auckland at 2.50 p.m. and carry a total of 429 infantry and engineers to Trentham. No. 1 group will supply 222 men, No. 2 group 85, and No. 4 group 122. The two last-mentioned drafts will join the train at Frankton Junction, 'ihis train will be in charge of Major W. H. Walker and he will be assisted by Captain J. Coleman. The evening express will carry the No. 3 group's quota of 86 men, also some ambulance details for Awapuni camp. A total of 593 men for the eighteenth reinforcements and prospective non-com-missioned officers for the twentieth reinforcements are required to be despatched to camp on June 27. POSITION IN HAMILTON DISTRICT. FORTY-FOUR MEN ACCEPTED. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Hamilton, Saturday. During the week ended yesterday 120 men registered for service in the No. 4, Hamilton, group. Of these, 44 were accepted, 19 deferred, and nine declared permanently unfit. The remainder have not yet undergone medical examination. The infantry quota for the eighteenth reinforcements is almost complete, while the other units have been full for some considerable time.
