HOSPITALS AT THE REAR FILLED WITH WOUNDED. AMSTERDAM:. JUNE 9.
Messages to the Amsterdam newspaper Telegraaf state that the German losses in the attack on the British line at Hooge were heavy. Red Cross activity recalled the days of the first battle at Ypres and the allied offensive in April, 1915. Many of the hospitals at the rear are filled with wounded, while the-number of killed was extremely large. Many hospital trains are leaving Courtrai for the north. *,
