The correspondent of the London Times at the British headquarters in France states that the Germans have been increasingly active in the Ypres region. Some think it is the beginning of a real attack on the Ypres salient, but the British are quite ready, and would welcome an assault. The more general opinion is that, the Germans are only aiming at keeping the British occupied in order to prevent the preparation of the grand offensive.
